DOES EVERY PERSON REALLY GET THEIR OWN PHOTO?    Yes! Step Back In Tyme is a form of entertainment - therefore, all those who go on the journey take with them not only the experience, but every person also receives their own portrait... a lasting memory of the journey. Every portrait also includes the mat of your choice. We offer 12 different mat styles - everything from Wanted Poster mats to Classic ornate Gallery mats.

DO YOU OFFER DIFFERENT SIZES AND CAN WE PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS?
Yes, you may trade your 8x10 for two 5x7's or a sheet of eight wallets at no additional fee. These are great for gift giving or scrapbooking.  You may create your own custom photo package by purchasing any additional photo sheet for $15 each (8x10's and 5x7's include the mats of your choice).    We can also print your one-of-a-kind-portrait in 11x14 size for an additional $50.00. We also offer 12x16, 16x20 and 20x24 sizes. Ask for details.

WHAT IS THE CUSTOM TINT THAT YOU OFFER?
Custom Tint is a beautiful alternative to the traditional sepia tone or color tint. It is a black and white portrait where selected portions of the portrait are hand colored back in. We do charge extra for this feature as it takes us time to prepare your portrait in this manner. Ask us for details. See the last portrait on the Wild West Gallery for a sample of this.

CAN I PUT THIS PHOTO ON MYSPACE OR SCAN OR PHOTOCOPY IT FOR MY OWN USE?     Our portraits are protected by US and International Copyright Law and we own the rights to the image, however, you may purchase your portrait on a CD for $25.00, which gives you ownership of the image and you may then do anything you want with it, including scanning and photocopying, and even making holiday cards!

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?     Yes! These are great for weddings, birthdays or any time you want to give a one-of-a-kind gift!

DO BABIES AND TODDLERS COUNT AS A PERSON?     Yes. We enjoy working with children, but they are more challenging to costume, pose and photograph! Please keep in mind, the results are more pleasing when they are rested, fed, happy and at an age where they respond well.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH DOGS?     Yes, for $15 each we will include your dog in your session (no portrait included) which accounts for the many variables associated with working with animals. Please keep your dog(s) leashed at all times.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?     Your session will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Larger groups can take up to an hour. You will be very carefully posed for the best portrait we can possibly create.

WILL YOUR COSTUMES FIT MY LARGER SIZE?     Most all of the costumes wrap around and tie in the back so one size fits most all.

DO YOU JUST TAKE ONE PICTURE?     The photographer will take several pictures during the session, making careful refinements along the way, so that there will be at least one photograph that looks the best for everyone in the portrait. We charge $15 per pose change that involves different people or completely different poses.

CAN WE LOOK AT AND SELECT OUR OWN PORTRAITS?    Because we focus on getting one great shot, we carefully look for the very best portrait that was taken. We can quickly view the photos, choose the best one and prepare your finished portrait efficiently.

CAN OUR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS OR FRIENDS COME INTO THE SHOOTING AREA WITH US AND HELP US PICK OUR COSTUMES?     Part of your experience in our studio is choosing your own costume. If you need assistance selecting your costume, we will gladly offer suggestions. We do encourage one or more parents of small children to enter with them for supervision and costume selection.

WHEN DO WE GET OUR PORTRAITS?     We begin preparing your photos for printing as you are changing out of your costume and the first one will be ready in approximately 5 minutes. While you are waiting you may select the mats of your choice which are included with your portrait, and you may browse the selection of frames that will make your portrait look truly outstanding.

WHAT KIND OF FRAMES DO YOU OFFER?    We currently carry 25 different old-fashioned and antique looking frames and photo boxes, from rustic to ornate that will enhance your portrait, from wallet size to 16x20. Some of these are beautiful oval frames with �bubble glass� to give your portrait a truly classic look. Framing is a great finishing touch for your portrait! We complete all framing on site while you wait. We also sell full size replica pirate swords for your home decor or to add to your own pirate costume!

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN AND DO WE NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?    Our hours are from 10am till 6pm or later, Monday through Saturday. We are always closed on Sundays. You may drop in or reserve a specific appointment ahead of time. Please call if you have a large group or are traveling from a far distance to ensure we will be open and have the time available.

DO YOU OFFER OTHER TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY?    Yes, there are many other sessions we provide in our studio beyond typical old time portraiture.  Here are some additional services we provide:
